4.1 Front Panel

5. Setup

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Volume

6.2 Radio Modes (DAB+/FM)

- Switching Modes: Press the MODE / MENU knob to cycle between DAB+ and FM modes.
- Scanning for Stations: In DAB+ mode, the radio will automatically scan for available stations upon first use. In FM mode, rotate the TUNE / SELECT knob to manually tune or press and hold to auto-scan.
6.3 Saving and Recalling Presets
You can save up to 20 favorite stations (10 for DAB+ and 10 for FM) for quick access.

- To Save: Tune to the desired station. Press and hold the TUNE / SELECT knob. Use the TUNE / SELECT knob to choose a preset number, then press to confirm.
- To Recall: Briefly press the TUNE / SELECT knob. Use the TUNE / SELECT knob to scroll through saved presets, then press to select.
6.4 Alarm Settings
The DIGITRADIO 50 SE features two programmable alarms with adjustable wake-up rhythms.

- Setting Alarms: Press the MODE / MENU knob to enter the main menu. Navigate to 'Alarm' and select 'Alarm 1' or 'Alarm 2'. Follow the on-screen prompts to set the alarm time, wake-up source (radio or buzzer), and desired volume.
- Alarm Rhythm: Within the alarm settings, choose the alarm rhythm: Once, Daily, Weekdays, or Weekends.
- Snooze Function: When an alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE / DIMMER button on the top of the radio to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a set interval.
- Sleep Timer: To set a sleep timer, navigate to the 'Sleep' option in the menu. Select the desired duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes) after which the radio will automatically turn off.

6.6 USB Charging Function

Connect your smartphone or other USB-powered device to the USB OUT (5.0V/1.0A) port on the rear of the radio using a compatible USB cable. The radio does not need to be actively playing for charging to occur.
6.7 Headphone Use
For private listening, connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack on the rear of the radio. The internal speaker will be muted automatically.
