Setup Guide

1. Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge the PeriPage L1 printer using the provided data cable. Connect the cable to the printer and a USB power source. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
2. Download the PeriPage App:

   Search for "PeriPage" in your device's app store (iOS App Store or Android Google Play Store) and download the official application. Alternatively, scan the QR code provided in the physical instruction manual to directly access the download link.

3. Install Label Tape:

   Gently rotate the cover of the printer to open it. Insert the label tape roll into the designated slot, ensuring the printing side of the tape faces upwards and the end of the tape extends slightly out of the printer's output slot. Close the cover securely.

4. Connect via Bluetooth:

   Turn on the PeriPage L1 printer by pressing and holding the power button. Open the PeriPage app on your smartphone. Navigate to the printer connection section within the app and select your PeriPage L1 device from the list of available Bluetooth devices. The app will indicate a successful connection.

Operating Instructions

1. Creating a New Label:

   Within the PeriPage app, select the option to "Create a new label." You can then input text, choose from various fonts, add symbols, frames, and utilize pre-designed templates to customize your label. The app provides a preview of your label before printing.

2. Printing Your Label:

   Once your label design is complete, confirm the settings (e.g., number of copies, density) and tap the "Confirm to print" button in the app. The printer will then quickly produce your label.

3. Cutting the Label:

   After printing, the label will emerge from the printer's output slot. Use the integrated hidden cut button on the side of the printer to safely and quickly cut the label from the roll.

4. Applying the Label:

   Peel the backing off the printed label to reveal the adhesive. Apply the label to your desired surface. The labels are designed to be durable and stick well.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Print Head: If print quality degrades, gently wipe the thermal print head with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Ensure the printer is turned off and completely dry before use.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the printer frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in constant use.
• Storage: Store the printer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

Printer not connecting via Bluetooth:

• Ensure the printer is powered on and within range of your smartphone.
• Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
• Restart both the printer and your smartphone.
• Check the PeriPage app for any pending updates.

Poor print quality or blank labels:

• Check if the label tape is installed correctly with the printing side facing the thermal print head.
• Ensure the label tape is not exhausted.
• Clean the thermal print head as described in the Maintenance section.
• Adjust the print density settings within the PeriPage app.

Labels not cutting properly:

• Ensure the label tape is properly aligned in the output slot.
• Press the cut button firmly and completely.

App requires excessive permissions:

• Some app functionalities might require access to certain device features (e.g., storage for saving templates). Review the permissions requested and grant only those necessary for the app's core functions.
