Setup
1. Assembly
- Place the track-stand base on a stable, level surface.
- Carefully attach the microscope head to the track-stand pillar, securing it with the provided locking screw.
- Insert the WF10X eyepieces into the ocular tubes of the microscope head. Ensure they are fully seated.
- If desired, screw in the 0.5X or 2X Barlow lens into the objective housing for additional magnification options.
- Mount the 9.7-inch touchscreen camera system onto the trinocular port at the top of the microscope head. Connect the necessary cables as indicated in the camera system's separate manual.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On and Illumination Control
- Flip the main power switch on the microscope base to the 'ON' position.
- Use the separate switches and dimmer controls on the base to activate and adjust the intensity of the top (reflected) and bottom (transmitted) LED illuminators.

2. Placing a Specimen
Place your specimen on the stage plate. For transparent specimens, use the transparent stage plate and transmitted illumination. For opaque specimens, use the opaque stage plate and reflected illumination.
3. Adjusting Magnification
The microscope offers a zoom magnification range from 4X to 200X. Rotate the zoom knob on the microscope head to change the magnification. You can further adjust the total magnification by swapping the 10X eyepieces for 20X eyepieces or by installing the 0.5X or 2X Barlow lenses.
4. Focusing
Use the coarse focus knobs on the track-stand to bring the specimen into approximate focus. Then, use the fine focus knob (if available, or the same coarse knob for precise adjustment) for sharp image clarity.
5. Using the Touchscreen Imaging System
The integrated 9.7-inch touchscreen allows for direct viewing, image capture, and video recording. Refer to the separate manual for the touchscreen system for detailed instructions on:
- Navigating the user interface.
- Capturing still images and recording videos.
- Storing files on microSD.
- Transferring data via USB or Wi-Fi.
- Connecting to an external monitor or television via micro-HDMI.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning Optics
Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a specialized optical cleaning solution to gently clean eyepiece lenses and objective lenses. Avoid touching optical surfaces with bare hands. For stubborn dust, use an air blower.
2. General Care
- Keep the microscope covered with the dust cover when not in use.
- Store the microscope in a dry, dust-free environment.
- Avoid exposing the microscope to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the optical or mechanical components beyond what is described in this manual.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image visible | Eyepieces not inserted correctly; objective not aligned; illumination off; specimen not in focus. | Re-insert eyepieces; check objective position; turn on illumination; adjust focus knobs. |
| Image is blurry | Not properly focused; dirty lenses; incorrect eyepiece/Barlow lens combination. | Adjust focus; clean lenses; ensure correct optical components are used. |
| Illumination not working | Power not connected; power switch off; dimmer set to minimum; LED failure. | Check power connection; turn on power switch; adjust dimmer; contact support if LEDs are faulty. |
| Touchscreen not responding | Power issue; software glitch; physical damage. | Ensure camera system is powered; restart the system; refer to touchscreen manual; contact support. |
