Setup
Due to the substantial weight of the fire pit (approximately 176 lbs), it is recommended to have at least two people for safe handling and placement.
1. Placement:
Choose a level, stable surface for the fire pit, ensuring adequate clearance from any combustible materials. Refer to local building codes for specific requirements.
2. Gas Connection:
This natural gas fire pit requires connection to a natural gas supply line. It is imperative that this connection is performed by a certified and licensed professional to ensure safety and compliance with all local gas codes.
3. Lava Rock Placement:
Carefully distribute the provided lava rocks evenly over the burner pan. Ensure that the igniter and burner holes are not completely covered to allow for proper ignition and flame distribution.

4. Windscreen Installation (Optional but Recommended):
The tempered glass windscreen helps to block breezes and stabilize the flames. Assemble the glass panels using the provided brackets and place it securely around the burner area.

Operating Instructions
Always ensure the area around the fire pit is clear of debris and flammable materials before ignition.
1. Ignition:
- Locate the control panel on the side of the fire pit.
- Ensure the gas supply valve is open.
- Push and turn the control knob to the 'ON' position while simultaneously pressing the 'IGNITER' button.
- Hold the control knob in for a few seconds after ignition to allow the thermocouple to heat up and engage the safety shut-off.
- If the flame does not ignite, release the knob, wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and repeat the process.

2. Adjusting Flame Height:
Once ignited, rotate the control knob to adjust the flame height from 'LOW' to 'HIGH' as desired.
3. Shutting Down:
To turn off the fire pit, turn the control knob to the 'OFF' position. Ensure the gas supply valve is fully closed when the fire pit is not in use.
