3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the device.
2. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 Attaching the Lanyard

Thread the lanyard through the designated loop on the pulse oximeter for convenient carrying.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Taking a Measurement

1. Ensure the device is powered off.
2. Press the power button (often shaped like a duck's beak) to turn on the device.
3. Open the clamp of the pulse oximeter.
4. Insert one finger (preferably the index finger) into the rubber opening of the oximeter until it touches the stop block. Ensure the nail is facing upwards.
5. Release the clamp.
6. Keep your hand still during the measurement. The readings for SpO2, PRbpm, and pulse wave will appear on the OLED screen within approximately 6 seconds.
7. Do not use the same finger for more than five minutes continuously.

4.2 Understanding the Display

• %SpO2: Blood Oxygen Saturation level.
• PRbpm: Pulse Rate in beats per minute.

• Battery Indicator: Shows remaining battery life.

5. Smart Reminder Feature

The Vibeat FS20P includes a smart reminder feature to alert users to unusual readings:

• An alert will activate if the user's O2 level drops below 88%.
• An alert will activate if the pulse rate goes above 120bpm or below 40bpm.

This feature helps ensure that no critical changes in readings are missed.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Clean the surface of the device with a soft cloth dampened with 75% alcohol.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any cleaning solution.
• Ensure the device is dry before reuse.

6.2 Storage

• Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.

7. Troubleshooting

If the device is not functioning as expected, please check the following:

• No display: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
• Inaccurate readings: Ensure the finger is inserted correctly and remains still during measurement. Avoid using the device in strong light or electromagnetic interference.
• Device does not turn on: Verify batteries are correctly inserted and charged. Press the power button firmly.
