Product Features
The KAWA D6 Dash Cam is equipped with advanced features to enhance your driving safety and recording experience.
2K 1440P Full QHD Resolution
The dash cam records in 2560x1440P at 30 frames per second, capturing clear and detailed footage of the road and license plates. This higher resolution provides significantly clearer and smoother videos compared to standard 1080P recordings.

Compact and Hidden Design
The ultra-compact and discreet design of the KAWA D6 ensures it does not obstruct your view while driving. It can be mounted behind the rearview mirror for minimal visibility.

Starlight Color Night Vision
Equipped with an advanced wide-aperture lens and high-performance sensor, the D6 provides excellent night vision. It enhances detail extraction and brightness comprehension, resulting in a clearer overall scene. License plates can be clearly captured even in low-light conditions.

Built-in Wi-Fi and App Control
The integrated Wi-Fi allows seamless connection to the KAWA DVR/AUTO app on your smartphone. This enables real-time viewing, playback, and downloading of recorded videos directly to your phone. You can also easily share videos to social media platforms.

G-Sensor and Emergency Recording
The built-in G-sensor automatically detects sudden shakes or collisions. In such events, the dash cam initiates emergency recording, saving the footage as a protected "event file" that will not be overwritten by regular loop recording. This ensures crucial moments are secured.

Loop Recording
The KAWA D6 supports seamless loop recording. When the memory card is full, the oldest unprotected video files are automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. Emergency files are protected and will not be overwritten. The dash cam supports Micro SD cards from 16GB up to 256GB.

24-Hour Parking Surveillance
With the optional KAWA D6 hardwire Micro USB kit (ASIN: B0BPWXD2PY), the dash cam provides 24-hour parking surveillance. It automatically activates and records in case of a collision or detected motion, offering continuous protection for your parked vehicle. This feature utilizes time-lapse recording to save storage space.

Supercapacitor for Enhanced Durability
The KAWA D6 is powered by a supercapacitor instead of a traditional lithium battery. This provides ultra-resistance to extreme temperatures, extending the product's lifespan and ensuring safety by being fireproof and explosion-proof. It operates reliably in temperatures from -20°C (-4°F) to 65°C (149°F) and can be stored from -30°C (-22°F) to 80°C (176°F).

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)
WDR technology automatically adjusts exposure to provide balanced lighting in challenging conditions. It supplements light in low-light areas and suppresses overexposure in bright or backlit scenes, ensuring clear footage during sunny days, cloudy weather, and dimly lit nights.

360° Rotatable Housing
The dash cam features a 360-degree rotatable housing, allowing you to adjust the lens angle to capture footage from various perspectives inside or outside the vehicle.

H.265 Video Encoding
The D6 utilizes H.265 (High Efficiency Video Coding, HEVC) for video compression. This advanced encoding offers greater transmission efficiency and superior image quality compared to H.264, effectively doubling compression and saving up to 50% of storage space. Ensure your media player supports H.265 format for optimal playback.

Setup
Micro SD Card Installation
A Micro SD card (Class 10 or higher) is required for recording. It is recommended to use a reliable brand with a capacity of at least 32GB, up to 256GB. High-quality Micro SD cards are essential for high-speed data recording and to prevent issues like system crashes or frame drops. For guaranteed compatibility, consider using an official KAWA Micro SD card (e.g., KAWA 64GB SD card, ASIN: B0BPWZ9726), which is sold separately.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam lens and body. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Micro SD Card: Regularly format your Micro SD card (at least once a month) through the dash cam settings to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important files before formatting.
- Firmware Updates: Check the KAWA official website or the app for any available firmware updates. Keeping your dash cam's firmware updated can improve performance and add new features.
- Temperature: While the supercapacitor provides excellent temperature resistance, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme direct sunlight when the vehicle is parked, especially in very hot climates, to prolong the device's lifespan.
