2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

3. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the toaster from its packaging. Remove all packaging materials, labels, and stickers.
  2. Placement: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials such as curtains or walls. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
  3. Power Connection: Unwind the power cord and plug it into a suitable electrical outlet (240V).
  4. Initial Operation: Before toasting bread for consumption, operate the toaster empty for a few cycles at the highest browning setting (8) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial use; this is normal and will dissipate. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Toasting

  1. Insert Bread: Place up to two slices of bread into the toasting slots.
  2. Select Browning Level: Turn the browning control knob to your desired setting, from 1 (lightest) to 8 (darkest).

  2. Select your desired browning level.
  3. Press the toast lever down, then press the illuminated defrost button (snowflake icon). The defrost indicator light will illuminate.
  4. The toaster will automatically complete the defrosting and toasting cycle.

4.3. Reheat Function

The reheat function is designed to warm up already toasted bread without further browning it.

  1. Insert already toasted bread into the slots.
  2. Press the toast lever down, then press the illuminated reheat button (wavy lines icon). The reheat indicator light will illuminate.
  3. The toaster will perform a short reheating cycle.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your toaster.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Crumb Tray: The toaster features an easy-to-clean crumb tray. Pull out the crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster, empty the crumbs, and wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is dry before reinserting.
  3. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
  4. Interior: Do not insert any objects into the toasting slots to clean them. If bread becomes jammed, unplug the toaster and carefully remove the bread after it has cooled.
  5. Storage: The power cord can be stored neatly at the base of the toaster to keep your countertop tidy.

If you encounter issues with your toaster, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
