Maintenance

  • Rinsing: After each use, thoroughly rinse the tank and all components with fresh water to remove salt, sand, or other debris.
  • Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before storage. Avoid direct sunlight.
  • Storage: Store the tank in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep the tank partially pressurized (e.g., 200-300 PSI) to prevent moisture ingress.
  • Mouthpiece and Hose: Periodically clean the silicone mouthpiece and low-pressure hose. If an industrial smell or oily residue is detected, clean thoroughly or consider replacing the hose.
  • Valve Cap: Ensure the cap covering the fill nipple is tight to prevent water from entering during use or storage.
  • Professional Servicing: It is recommended to have the tank and regulator serviced by a qualified technician annually or as recommended by diving standards.
