4.2 Data Transfer Modes
Choose between two data transfer modes:
- Normal Run Mode (Instant Upload): Scanned data is immediately transmitted to the connected device.
- Storage Mode: Barcodes are stored in the scanner's internal memory (up to 2 million barcodes) and can be uploaded to a device later. This is useful when out of range of a connected device.

Figure 7: The scanner supports both instant data upload and a storage mode for offline scanning, capable of holding up to 2 million barcodes.
4.3 Decoding Ability
The Anyeast AT004 is capable of scanning most 1D, 2D, and QR codes from various surfaces, including paper, labels, and digital screens.

Figure 8: The scanner's advanced decoding ability allows it to read a wide range of barcode types efficiently.
4.4 Custom Prefix or Suffix
The scanner can be configured to add or hide custom prefixes or suffixes to scanned data. Refer to the programming barcodes in the full user manual for specific instructions on how to enable and customize this feature.
4.5 Sound Settings
The scanner provides audible feedback for successful scans. This sound can be enabled or disabled by scanning the appropriate configuration barcodes found in the detailed user manual.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the scanner's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the scanner regularly, even if not in active use.
6. Troubleshooting
- Scanner not connecting: Ensure the scanner is charged and within range of the receiver/device. Re-pair the device if using Bluetooth or 2.4G wireless. For wired connection, check the USB cable.
- No data output: Verify the scanner is successfully paired/connected. Check if the target application (e.g., Notepad, Excel) is active and ready to receive input.
- Unable to scan certain barcodes: Ensure the barcode type is supported by the AT004. Check if the barcode is damaged or poorly printed. Adjust scanning distance and angle.
- Incorrect data output: This may be due to an incorrect keyboard language setting on the host device. Ensure the host device's keyboard layout matches the scanner's default or configured layout.
- Scanner beeps but no data: If in Storage Mode, data will not be instantly uploaded. Scan the 'Upload All Codes' barcode from the manual to transfer stored data.
