Setup and Installation

1. Choosing the Right Model
Ensure you have selected the correct EasyTouch model for your RV's existing thermostat. Refer to the model guide provided by the manufacturer to confirm compatibility.

2. Removing the Old Thermostat
Before beginning, ensure all power to the RV's HVAC system is disconnected. Depress the rectangular locking tab on the bottom of the old thermostat with a small screwdriver. Gently pull the thermostat away from the wall from the bottom. Unplug the connector by depressing the locking tab. Remove any back plate mounting screws and the back plate.
3. Wiring the Thermostat
The EasyTouch thermostat features a simple telephone-style modular jack. This is a six-pin version of a common Ethernet connector with a press tab for removing the connector. Connect the wiring from your RV to the new thermostat's modular jack. Ensure a secure connection.
4. Mounting the New Thermostat
- Locate the mounting buttons horizontally across the hole with the smaller diameter against the wall.
- Screw in one screw and level the buttons so the display will be straight when installed.
- Screw in the second screw, ensuring both buttons remain level.
- Remove the mounting tab before mounting the display unit on the wall.
- Align the display and press it against the wall, then gently slide the display down to lock it in place.

Operating Instructions
Touch Screen Interface
The EasyTouch thermostat features a large, colored touch screen for intuitive control. The display shows current temperature, set temperature, and outside temperature (if applicable). Icons represent various functions such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, scheduling, and alarms.
