3. Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically takes approximately 20 minutes with one person. Two people may expedite the process.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a rug or blanket) to prevent scratches.
- Assemble Frame Sections: Connect the main frame sections using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Important: Do not fully tighten any screws until all frame sections are loosely assembled. This allows for proper alignment.
- Install Support Slats: Place the steel support slats into the designated slots on the frame. Ensure they are securely seated. The U-shaped grooves help fix the slats in place.
- Attach Anti-Slip Baffles: Install the plastic anti-slip baffles on the frame as indicated in the diagram to prevent the mattress from sliding. Ensure they are mounted outwards.
- Attach Rubber Foot Pads: Secure the rubber foot pads to the bottom of each leg. These protect your floor and reduce noise.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, systematically tighten all screws until they are secure. Do not overtighten.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Fastener Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) inspect all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if any looseness is detected.
- Floor Protection: Ensure the rubber foot pads are intact and properly seated to continue protecting your flooring.
6. Troubleshooting
- Noise/Squeaking: If the frame develops noise, check all connections and ensure screws are tightly fastened. Verify that the rubber foot pads are correctly installed and that the mattress is not directly rubbing against metal parts.
- Mattress Sliding: Ensure the plastic anti-slip baffles are properly installed and facing outwards. If sliding persists, consider using a non-slip mattress pad between the mattress and the frame.
- Instability: If the frame feels unstable, immediately cease use and re-check all assembly steps, ensuring all components are correctly aligned and all fasteners are fully tightened.
