Setup and Programming
Follow these steps to program your ASONPAO M12 remote control with your gate opener system. Ensure the remote has a working 12V 27A battery installed before beginning.

For Swing Gate Openers:
- Learn the Remote: Press and release the learn button on the control board. The LED will display "Ln". Then, press the remote button twice within 2 seconds. The LED will flash "Ln" for 4 seconds, indicating successful learning.
- Erase All Remote Codes: Press and hold the learn button on the control board until the LED display shows "dL". All remote codes have been erased. Release the learn button, and the display will return to "- -".
For Sliding Gate Openers:
- Learn the Remote: Press and release the learn button on the control board. The REM LED light will turn on. Then, press the remote button twice within 2 seconds. The REM LED light will flash for 4 seconds, indicating successful learning.
- Erase All Remote Codes: Press and hold the learn button on the control board until the REM LED light is off. All remote codes have been erased.
- For Sliding Gate Opener Models AC1400, AC2000, AR1400, and AR2000: Press and release the learn button "AN" on the control board. The "LED2" will turn on and then turn off. The beeper will ring about 1 second. Then press the remote button you wish to use. The "LED2" will turn on and then turn off again. The beeper will ring about 2 seconds. The learning process is finished. Up to 100 transmitters may be programmed with these models.
