4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The GardePro E6 requires 8 AA batteries (not included). Ensure to use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries for optimal performance and battery life.

  1. Open the camera housing latches on the side.
  2. Locate the battery compartment.
  3. Insert 8 AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment securely and fasten the latches.

4.2. SD Card Insertion

A Class 10 or higher SD card (up to 128GB) is required for storing photos and videos (not included).

  1. With the camera powered off, locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in until it springs out.

4.3. Antenna Attachment

Screw the provided antenna into the designated port on the top of the camera. Ensure it is finger-tight for optimal signal reception.

4.4. Mounting the Camera

The camera can be mounted using the included strap or a wall mount (not included).

  • Strap Mounting: Thread the mounting strap through the slots on the back of the camera and secure it around a tree or pole. Adjust for a snug fit.
  • Wall Mounting: Use a compatible wall mount (sold separately) and secure the camera to a flat surface.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1. Powering On/Off

To power on the camera, slide the power switch to the "ON" position. To power off, slide it to "OFF".

5.2. Using the GardePro Mobile App

The GardePro E6 connects to your smartphone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for remote control and file management. Download the "GardePro Mobile" app from your device's app store.

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. Open the GardePro Mobile app.
  3. The app will detect the camera via Bluetooth. Select your camera from the list.
  4. Follow the in-app prompts to establish a Wi-Fi connection with the camera.
  5. Once connected, you can view live feed, change settings, browse photos/videos, and download files.

5.3. Capture Modes

The camera supports three capture modes:

  • Photo Mode: Captures still images when motion is detected.
  • Video Mode: Records video clips when motion is detected.
  • Photo + Video Mode: Captures a still image followed by a video clip when motion is detected.

These settings can be configured through the camera's internal menu or via the mobile app.

5.4. Night Vision Operation

The E6 features 940nm no-glow infrared LEDs for discreet night vision up to 75 feet. The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions.

5.5. Video Playback and Image Viewing

You can review captured media directly on the camera's internal screen or more conveniently through the GardePro Mobile app. The app allows for instant previews of 1296p H.264 videos without prior downloading.
