2. Setup and Charging
2.1 Initial Setup
Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed. The Sofirn Q8 Pro comes with batteries included. It is essential to remove the insulation paper located between the battery compartment and the flashlight head to allow for proper electrical contact.

2.2 Charging the Flashlight
The Q8 Pro features a USB-C charging port for convenient and fast charging. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the flashlight and a 5V 2A power adapter (adapter not included). The indicator inside the side button will turn from blue to green when fully charged.

The flashlight can also function as a power bank, allowing you to charge other devices via its USB-C port. Output current ranges from 1.5A to 3A.
3. Operating Instructions
The Sofirn Q8 Pro utilizes the advanced Anduril2 system, offering both a Simple User Interface (UI) and an Advanced User Interface (UI). Most functions are accessible in the Advanced UI.
3.1 Basic Operation (Simple UI)
- Turn On/Off: Single click the side button.
- Brightness Adjustment: While on, press and hold the button to ramp brightness up or down. Release to set.
- Turbo Mode: Double click from ON to activate Turbo mode (maximum brightness). Double click again to return to previous brightness.
- Lockout: From OFF, 4 clicks to activate electronic lockout. Repeat 4 clicks to unlock.
3.2 Advanced Operation (Anduril2 UI)
The Advanced UI provides access to a wide range of customizable features, including adjustable strobe modes, sunset mode, momentary modes, and more. Due to the complexity, refer to the detailed Anduril2 UI diagram for specific click sequences and functions.

4. Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Sofirn Q8 Pro flashlight.
4.1 Waterproofing
The Q8 Pro is rated IPX-8 waterproof, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 2 meters. While highly water-resistant, it is not designed for diving. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

4.2 Cleaning and Storage
Clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners. Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, it is recommended to remove the batteries.
4.3 Battery Care
The flashlight uses Lithium Polymer batteries. For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the batteries frequently. Recharge them when the indicator shows low battery. Use only the recommended charging methods.
5. Troubleshooting

- Flashlight not turning on:
- Ensure the insulation paper has been removed from the battery compartment.
- Check if the batteries are properly inserted and fully charged.
