Operating Instructions
Weaving Modes
Your knitting machine supports two primary weaving modes: Plain Knit (P) and Tube Knit (T). Use the switch on the side of the machine to select the desired mode.
- Tube Knit (T): Ideal for creating seamless, cylindrical items such as hats, gloves, and dolls.
- Plain Knit (P): Suitable for flat items like scarves, sweaters, and bags.

Starting to Knit
Follow these steps to begin knitting:
- Step 1: Select Mode. Choose either Plain Knit (P) or Tube Knit (T) using the mode switch.
- Step 2: Thread First Needles. The first needle should be in the hook position, and the second needle should be in the back position.
- Step 3: Initial Threading. Thread the yarn at intervals around the needles, ensuring all needles are hooked.
- Step 4: Yarn Guide. Pierce the lead, then thread the wool into the yarn guide (thread mouth) and hook the knitting.
- Step 5: Begin Weaving. Turn the handle clockwise to start weaving your scarf, hat, or sweater.

Adjusting Yarn Tension
The machine features an adjustable yarn density function, allowing you to control the tightness of your stitches. Adjust the tension according to your project requirements for a more coordinated fabric.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dropped stitches | Incorrect yarn tension, yarn not properly threaded, or machine moving during operation. | Check yarn tension settings. Ensure yarn is correctly threaded through all guides and needles. Verify suction cups are securely attached to prevent machine movement. |
| Yarn tangles or snags | Yarn feeding too quickly, uneven tension, or knots in yarn. | Ensure yarn feeds smoothly from the skein. Adjust tension. Remove any knots or imperfections from the yarn. Turn the handle at a consistent, moderate speed. |
| Machine not turning smoothly | Yarn obstruction, debris in gears, or machine not lubricated. | Check for any yarn caught in the needles or gears. Clean the machine thoroughly. (Note: This machine typically does not require lubrication, refer to manufacturer if issue persists). |
