1. Product Overview

The Bakaji Tera Music TERA-600 is a versatile 61-key electronic musical keyboard designed for both aspiring musicians and professionals. It features an LED display, integrated stereo speakers, and a wide array of functions including 255 rhythms, 255 timbres, 24 pre-set songs, and a recording function. 2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  • Verify that all items are present: keyboard, power adapter, music stand, microphone.
  • Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.

2.2 Powering the Keyboard

The keyboard can be powered in two ways:

  • Using the AC Power Adapter: Connect the provided 9V power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the keyboard and plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.
  • Using Batteries: For portable use, insert 6 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the keyboard. Ensure correct polarity.

2.3 Attaching the Music Stand

Locate the removable music stand. Insert its base into the designated slots on the top panel of the keyboard, behind the control panel. Ensure it is securely seated. This stand can hold sheet music or a tablet.

2.4 Connecting Peripherals

  • Microphone: Connect the included microphone to the MIC IN jack for singing along with your compositions.
  • AUX Input: Use the AUX IN jack to connect external audio devices (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) and play along with your favorite tracks.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

Press the POWER button located on the left side of the control panel to turn the keyboard on or off. The LED display will illuminate upon power-on.

3.2 Adjusting Volume

Use the MASTER VOL controls to adjust the overall output volume of the keyboard.

3.3 Selecting Timbres (Instrument Sounds)

The keyboard offers 255 different timbres. Use the TIMBRE +/- buttons or the numeric keypad to select your desired instrument sound. The selected timbre number will be shown on the LED display.

3.4 Selecting Rhythms

Choose from 255 pre-programmed rhythms using the RHYTHM +/- buttons or the numeric keypad. Press START/STOP to begin or end the rhythm playback.

3.5 Playing Pre-set Songs

The keyboard includes 24 pre-set demonstration songs. Use the SONG +/- buttons to select a song, then press PLAY to listen.

3.6 Percussion Effects

Access 8 percussion sound effect options and 61 keyboard percussions to add dynamic elements to your music. Refer to the control panel labels for specific percussion key assignments.

3.7 Recording Function

To record your performance:

  1. Press the REC button to enter recording mode.
  2. Play your desired melody on the keyboard.
  3. Press PLAY to listen to your recorded composition.

3.8 Using the Music Stand with Sheet Music or Tablet

The removable music stand is designed to securely hold sheet music or a tablet, allowing you to read notes or use learning applications hands-free while playing.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the keyboard surface with a soft, dry cloth.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and a mild detergent, then wipe dry immediately.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish.

4.2 Storage

  • Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Cover the keyboard with a dust cover to protect it from dust and debris.
