4. Setup & Charging
4.1 Inserting the Battery
To insert the battery into your Insta360 X3 camera, ensure the battery is oriented correctly and gently slide it into the battery compartment until it clicks securely into place. Always check the condition of the battery buckle and waterproof rubber ring before insertion. If damaged, it may affect the camera's waterproof performance.
4.2 Charging the Battery
The battery must be charged with the Fast Charge Hub officially sold by Insta360 or connected to a matching camera through the camera power adapter.
- When charging with the hub, ensure that the battery's charging point is aligned on the same side as the status indicators.
- It is suggested to connect the Fast Charge Hub to a 12V 3A power adapter. Using an adapter above 12V 3A may not increase charge speed or may produce unexpected results. When below 12V 3A, simultaneous charging may not work correctly and charging time may be prolonged.
The ambient temperature for battery charging should be between 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
5. Operation
Once the battery is fully charged and securely inserted into your Insta360 X3 camera, you can power on your camera and begin recording. Refer to your Insta360 X3 camera's manual for specific operating instructions.
6. Maintenance & Storage
- Do not use or store batteries in a hot environment. Doing so may affect or shorten battery life.
- It is strictly forbidden to use batteries not officially sold by Insta360. If you need to replace the battery, please purchase it on the official website of Insta360 or through designated channels. Insta360 is not responsible for battery accidents and equipment failures caused by the use of unofficially provided batteries.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Insta360 X3 Battery, consider the following:
- Battery Not Charging: Ensure the charging cable and adapter are correctly connected and functioning. Verify that the battery is properly seated in the Fast Charge Hub.
- Short Battery Life: Check the ambient temperature during use; extreme temperatures can affect performance. Ensure you are using an official Insta360 battery.
- Battery Swelling: If the battery appears swollen or damaged, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it safely according to local regulations. Do not attempt to charge or use a swollen battery.
