2. Safety Information

WARNING: Installation of this product requires two or more people due to the weight and size of the glass panels. Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in personal injury or product damage.

• Always wear safety glasses during installation.
• Handle glass panels with extreme care. Tempered glass, while strong, can shatter if struck at the edges or corners.
• Ensure the installation surface (walls, floor) is structurally sound and level.
• Use appropriate tools and hardware for installation.
• Professional installation is recommended for optimal safety and performance.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the glass or frame finish.

5. Setup and Installation

Before starting, ensure you have all necessary tools (e.g., drill, level, measuring tape, screwdriver, caulk gun, silicone sealant) and that your shower base or curb is properly installed and level.

5.1. Pre-Installation Checks

• Unpack all components and inspect for damage.
• Confirm wall studs or blocking are present in the installation area for secure mounting.
• Measure the shower opening to ensure it matches the enclosure dimensions.

5.2. Wall Profile Installation

1. Position the aluminum wall profiles against the finished walls at the desired height. Use a level to ensure they are perfectly vertical.
2. Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes in the profiles.
3. Drill holes and insert wall anchors (if necessary).
4. Secure the wall profiles to the walls using the provided screws. The design allows for up to 20mm (approximately 0.78 inches) of adjustment on each side for out-of-plumb walls.

5.3. Fixed Glass Panel Installation

1. Carefully insert the fixed glass panels into the installed wall profiles and the bottom guide rail.
2. Ensure the glass is seated firmly and evenly.
3. Secure the fixed panels using the appropriate fasteners as indicated in the detailed diagram.

5.4. Sliding Door Assembly

1. Attach the rollers to the top and bottom of the sliding glass doors. Ensure rollers are securely fastened and move freely.
2. Install the door handles onto the sliding glass panels.

5.5. Sliding Door Installation

1. Carefully lift and place the assembled sliding doors onto the top and bottom guide rails. Ensure the rollers engage smoothly with the tracks.
2. Test the sliding motion of both doors to ensure they operate freely and meet correctly in the corner.

5.6. Waterproof Seal Installation

1. Install the provided waterproof seal strips along the edges of the glass panels and where the doors meet. These seals are designed to prevent water leakage.
2. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant along the exterior base of the enclosure where it meets the shower base or curb, and along the exterior vertical joints where the wall profiles meet the walls.
3. Allow the sealant to cure completely (typically 24-48 hours) before using the shower.

6. Operating Instructions

The ELEGANT Corner Shower Enclosure features double sliding doors for convenient access. To open, gently slide either door along its track. To close, slide the doors until they meet in the corner, where they will be held in place by magnetic seals.

• Avoid forcing the doors if they encounter resistance. Inspect the tracks for obstructions.
• Do not hang heavy objects from the door handles or frame.

7. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your shower enclosure.

• Glass Cleaning: Clean glass panels regularly with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Avoid cleaners containing harsh chemicals, abrasives, or scouring pads, as these can damage the glass or protective coatings.
• Frame Cleaning: Wipe down aluminum profiles with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn spots, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
• Seal Inspection: Periodically check the waterproof seal strips for wear or damage. Replace if necessary to prevent leaks.
• Roller and Track Maintenance: Keep the top and bottom tracks free of soap scum, hair, and debris to ensure smooth door operation. Clean rollers with a small brush if needed.
