2. Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or other injury, follow these basic safety precautions:
- Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, water-resistant surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Placement
- Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances.
- Ensure the power cord is not pinched or placed under heavy objects.
5.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Remove the water tank from the humidifier base.
- Turn the tank upside down and unscrew the tank cap.
- Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water or distilled water. Do not fill past the MAX line.
- Screw the tank cap back on tightly.
- Place the water tank back onto the humidifier base, ensuring it is seated correctly.
5.3 Inserting Absorption Pads (Optional)
Absorption pads help reduce mineral buildup. Insert them into the designated slot in the base if desired.
5.4 Inserting Aroma Pads (Optional)
To use essential oils for aromatherapy:
- Locate the aroma box on the side/back of the humidifier base.
- Pull out the aroma box tray.
- Add 5-10 drops of essential oil onto a fresh aroma pad.
- Place the aroma pad into the aroma box tray and push the tray back into the humidifier.
- Note: Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Plug the power cord into a 120V electrical outlet. Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the humidifier on or off.
6.2 Mist Mode Selection (Warm/Cool)
The LV600 offers both warm and cool mist options:
- Press the Mist Mode button to cycle between cool mist and warm mist.
- Warm mist provides faster humidification and can be beneficial for cold/flu symptoms.
6.3 Mist Level Adjustment
Press the Mist Level button to adjust the mist output intensity (Low, Medium, High).
6.4 Humidity Setting (Auto Mode)
Set your desired humidity level. The humidifier will automatically adjust mist output to maintain this level and turn off when the target is reached.
6.5 Timer Function

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene.
7.1 Daily Maintenance
- Empty and rinse the water tank and base daily.
- Wipe the inside of the tank and base with a clean, dry cloth.
7.2 Weekly Cleaning (Descaling)
- Unplug the humidifier.
- Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water.
- Pour 1 cup (240 mL) of distilled white vinegar into the base and let it soak for 20 minutes.
- Use a soft brush or cloth to clean mineral buildup from the transducer and heating element.
- Rinse the base thoroughly with clean water. Do not immerse the base in water.
- Clean the water tank with vinegar and rinse thoroughly.
- Dry all parts completely before reassembling.
7.3 Replacing Absorption Pads
Replace absorption pads every 2-4 weeks, or sooner depending on water hardness and usage. Discard used pads and insert new ones into the designated slot.
7.4 Replacing Aroma Pads
Replace aroma pads when the scent diminishes or when switching essential oils. Discard used pads and insert new ones into the aroma box tray.
7.5 Storage
If the humidifier will not be used for an extended period, clean all components thoroughly, dry them completely, and store the unit in a cool, dry place.
