1. Introduction

The Haoteful Dog Training Collar is designed to assist pet owners in effectively and humanely training their dogs. This versatile collar offers three safe training modes: beep, vibration, and static shock, allowing for tailored correction based on your dog's needs and behavior. Featuring an upgraded chip for lightning-quick responses, a security keypad lock to prevent accidental activation, and a wide 2600ft remote range, it's suitable for both indoor and outdoor training environments. The receiver is 100% waterproof (IPX7 rated) and the collar is adjustable to comfortably fit dogs weighing 10-120lbs with neck sizes from 7.5 to 25 inches. 3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Devices

Before initial use, ensure both the remote and receiver are fully charged. The included 2-in-1 USB charging cable allows simultaneous charging.

• Connect the USB charging cable to a compatible power source (phone adapter, PC USB outlet, power bank, or car charger).
• Plug the appropriate connectors into the charging ports on the remote and the receiver.
• A full charge typically takes 1.5-2 hours. The receiver can last up to 15 days, and the remote up to 30 days on a single charge.

3.2 Attaching Contact Prongs

Select the appropriate contact prongs (short or long) based on your dog's fur length. For dogs with thick fur, use the longer probes to ensure proper contact with the skin.

• Twist the desired prongs into the receiver unit until secure.
• Ensure both prongs touch the dog's skin for effective operation.

3.3 Fitting the Collar

Proper fit is essential for comfort and effectiveness. The collar is adjustable to fit neck sizes from 7.5 to 25 inches and dogs weighing 10-120lbs.

• Place the receiver unit centrally on your dog's neck, ensuring the contact prongs are positioned underneath.
• Adjust the strap snugly, allowing enough space for one or two fingers to fit comfortably between the collar and your dog's neck. It should not be too tight or too loose.
• Trim any excess collar strap if necessary and use a lighter to seal the cut edge to prevent fraying.

3.4 Powering On/Off & Pairing

• To power on the receiver: Press and hold the power button on the receiver until the indicator light illuminates.
• To power on the remote: Press and hold the power button on the side of the remote until the display lights up.
• The devices should automatically pair. If not, refer to the user manual for specific pairing instructions.
• To power off: Press and hold the power button on each device until the lights turn off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Training Modes

The remote offers three distinct training modes to suit various training needs:

• Beep Mode: Provides an audible tone as a gentle reminder or warning.
• Vibration Mode: Delivers a vibration (levels 1-8) for a more noticeable, yet humane, correction.
• Static Shock Mode: Provides a static shock (levels 0-18) for stubborn dogs or repeated undesirable behaviors. Always start at the lowest effective level.

4.2 Remote Control Functions

The remote control features large buttons and a clear display for easy one-hand operation.

• Mode Button (M): Cycle through Beep, Vibration, and Static Shock modes.
• +/- Buttons: Adjust the intensity level for Vibration (1-8) and Static Shock (0-18).
• Channel (CH) Button: Switch between up to 3 channels to train multiple dogs with one remote.
• Security Lock: Use the side slider to lock/unlock the remote to prevent accidental activation.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Waterproofing

The receiver is IPX7 waterproof, making it suitable for use in various wet conditions.

• The collar can withstand rain, snow, and even submersion during swimming or bath time.
• Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the receiver to water.

5.2 Cleaning and Care

To ensure longevity and hygiene of your training collar:

• Regularly inspect the collar and receiver for any signs of wear or damage.
• Clean the collar strap with water and mild soap as needed.
• Wipe the receiver unit with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Ensure the contact prongs are clean and free of debris to maintain effective contact with your dog's skin.
