1. Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before installation and use. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before installing or servicing the LED strip lights or driver. All wiring should comply with national and local electrical codes.
- Indoor Use Only: The LED strip lights have an IP30 rating, indicating they are suitable for indoor, dry locations only. Do not expose to water or high humidity.
- Proper Voltage: Use only with the provided 24V DC LED driver. Connecting to an incorrect voltage source will damage the product and void the warranty.
- Heat Dissipation: Do not cover the LED strip or driver with materials that may impede heat dissipation. Ensure adequate airflow around the driver.
- Cutting: Only cut the LED strip at designated cut marks. Cutting elsewhere will damage the strip.
- Professional Installation: If you are unsure about any part of the installation process, consult a qualified electrician.

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Planning Your Installation
- Determine the desired length and layout for your LED strip lights. The strip can be extended up to 32.8ft without significant voltage drop.
- Identify the location for the LED driver, ensuring it is accessible for wiring and has adequate ventilation.
- Clean the surface where the LED strip will be applied to ensure proper adhesion.

Image: EMITEVER LED strip lights can extend up to 32 feet evenly.
4.2 Cutting the LED Strip (Optional)
If a shorter length is required, the LED strip can be cut at designated marks, typically every 1.97 inches (5cm). Look for copper pads with a scissor icon. Cutting at any other point will damage the circuit.
4.3 Mounting the LED Strip
- Peel off the protective backing from the 3M 55280 adhesive on the back of the LED strip.
- Carefully press the strip onto the clean, dry surface, ensuring firm contact along its entire length.
- Use the provided mounting clips for additional security, especially on corners or uneven surfaces.

4.4 Wiring the LED Driver
WARNING: Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding with wiring.
- Open the wiring compartments on the LED driver.
- Input Wiring (AC Side): Connect the AC input wires from your power source to the corresponding terminals on the driver:
- Black wire to AC L (Line)
- White wire to AC N (Neutral)
- Green wire to Ground
- Output Wiring (DC Side): Connect the LED strip wires to the DC output terminals:
- Red wire (from LED strip) to LED+
- Black wire (from LED strip) to LED-
- Dimming Control Wiring (Optional): If using a 0-10V dimmer, connect the dimmer control wires:
- Pink wire to 0-10V DIM +
- Purple wire to 0-10V DIM -
- Ensure all connections are secure. The maximum conductor size for through branch circuit wiring is 12 AWG.
- Close the wiring compartments securely. The mounting feet allow the driver to be tightened on a flat surface.

4.5 Power On
Once all connections are made and secured, restore power at the circuit breaker. The LED strip lights should illuminate.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
The LED strip lights will turn on when power is supplied to the driver. Use a wall switch or the connected dimmer to control power.
5.2 Dimming Functionality
The EMITEVER LED driver supports 0-100% dimming with most ELV, TRIAC, 0/1-10V, phone app, and RF handheld dimmers. Connect a compatible dimmer to the 0-10V DIM terminals on the driver for smooth, flicker-free brightness adjustment.

6. Maintenance
The EMITEVER LED Strip Lights and driver are designed for long-term, low-maintenance operation. Follow these guidelines for optimal performance:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strip and driver with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure power is off before cleaning.
- Inspection: Periodically check the wiring connections to ensure they remain secure. Inspect the LED strip for any signs of damage.
- Environment: Ensure the operating environment remains within the specified temperature and humidity ranges (indoor, dry locations).
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your EMITEVER LED Strip Lights, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Lights do not turn on | No power to driver; Loose wiring; Faulty driver or strip | Check circuit breaker and wall switch. Verify all wiring connections are secure. Test driver output voltage if possible. Contact support if issue persists. |
| Lights flicker or are unstable | Loose connections; Incompatible dimmer; Overloaded circuit | Check wiring. Ensure dimmer is compatible (ELV, TRIAC, 0/1-10V). Verify total wattage of LED strips does not exceed driver capacity. |
| Lights are too dim or too bright | Dimmer setting; Incorrect dimmer type | Adjust dimmer to desired brightness. Ensure a compatible dimmer is used for 0-100% control. |
| Section of strip is not lighting up | Damage to strip; Improper cut | Inspect the non-working section for physical damage. If cut, ensure it was done at a designated cut mark. |
