5. Setup
5.1. Power Connection
- Uncoil the FM/DAB antenna fully for optimal reception.
- Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the unit.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
- The unit will power on automatically or enter standby mode.
- (Optional) For battery backup of settings during power outages, insert 2x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
5.2. Initial Setup (Automatic Time and Station Scan)
Upon first power-on, the unit will typically perform an automatic scan for DAB+ stations and set the time automatically via the DAB signal.
- Ensure the antenna is extended.
- The display will show "Scanning..." or similar. Wait for the scan to complete.
- Once complete, the time should be set, and the first available DAB+ station will play.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- Press the POWER/MODE button to turn the unit on or off.
- While on, press SOURCE or POWER/MODE repeatedly to cycle through DAB, FM, and other available modes.
6.2. Radio Operation (DAB+)
- Switch to DAB mode using the SOURCE button.
- If a scan hasn't been performed, press MENU, then use SELECT to choose "Full Scan" and confirm.
- Use the TUNING +/- buttons (or similar navigation) to browse available stations.
- Press SELECT to listen to a station.
- Saving Presets: Press and hold MEMORY, use TUNING +/- to select a preset number (1-20), then press SELECT to save.
- Recalling Presets: Briefly press MEMORY, use TUNING +/- to select the desired preset, then press SELECT.
6.3. Radio Operation (FM)
- Switch to FM mode using the SOURCE button.
- Press and hold SELECT to auto-scan for the next available station.
- Briefly press TUNING +/- to fine-tune the frequency manually.
- Saving Presets: Press and hold MEMORY, use TUNING +/- to select a preset number (1-20), then press SELECT to save.
- Recalling Presets: Briefly press MEMORY, use TUNING +/- to select the desired preset, then press SELECT.
- The unit supports RDS (Radio Data System) for displaying station information where available.
6.4. Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 & Alarm 2)
The UR6700AN features two independent alarms.
- In standby mode, press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button (if dedicated, otherwise navigate via MENU).
- The hour digits will flash. Use TUNING +/- to set the hour, then press SELECT.
- The minute digits will flash. Use TUNING +/- to set the minute, then press SELECT.
- Select alarm source (Buzzer, DAB, or FM) using TUNING +/-, then press SELECT. If choosing radio, select the desired station/preset.
- Select alarm frequency (Everyday, Weekdays, Weekends, Once) using TUNING +/-, then press SELECT.
- Adjust the alarm volume using TUNING +/-, then press SELECT.
- The alarm icon will appear on the display, indicating it is active.
- To turn off an active alarm, press the POWER button.
6.5. Projection Function
The integrated projector can display the time on your wall or ceiling.

- Locate the projector lens on the left side of the unit.
- Press the PROJECTOR ON/OFF button (if available, otherwise check MENU) to activate or deactivate the projection.
- Rotate the projector lens housing to adjust the projection angle. The 180° flip function allows for flexible positioning.
- Rotate the focus ring around the projector lens to sharpen the projected image.

6.6. Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a preset interval (e.g., 9 minutes). Press the POWER button to cancel snooze and turn off the alarm completely.
6.7. Sleep Timer Function
The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.
- While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button repeatedly.
- Cycle through the available sleep timer options (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes, OFF).
- The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time.
6.8. Display Dimmer
Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button (when no alarm is active) to adjust the brightness of the LCD display. Cycle through the available brightness levels (e.g., 5 levels).
6.9. USB Charging Port
The USB port on the unit is designed for charging compatible external devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets). Connect your device's USB charging cable to this port. Charging speed may vary depending on the device and cable.
