2. Installation and Setup

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your washing machine. Please follow these guidelines carefully.

2.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove the washing machine from its packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Retain all packaging materials for potential future transport or service.

2.2 Space Requirements

Ensure adequate space for installation and operation. The machine requires specific clearances for ventilation and door opening.

Figure 2.1: Installation Space Requirements and Dimensions
This diagram illustrates the necessary clearances for installation. Ensure a minimum of 15cm above the unit, 1cm behind, and 1cm on the left/right sides. Allow 20-40cm for door opening space. The main body width (excluding handle/drain hose) is 600mm. The unit must fit into a waterproof pan with an inner depth of 540mm or more.

2.3 Connecting Water and Drain Hoses

Connect the water supply hose to a cold water tap and the machine's inlet. Ensure connections are secure to prevent leaks. Attach the drain hose to the machine and route it to a suitable drain point, ensuring it is not kinked or obstructed.

2.4 Leveling the Machine

Use a spirit level to ensure the machine is perfectly level. Adjust the leveling feet as necessary. A level machine reduces vibration and noise during operation.

3.6 Specific Features Explained

Wind Iron Feature

This feature uses high-speed airflow to smooth out wrinkles in clothes during the drying cycle, reducing the need for manual ironing. It is particularly effective for shirts and everyday wear.

The Wind Iron feature significantly reduces wrinkles in casual shirts and makes towels fluffier compared to conventional drying methods.

Sensor Big Drum Wash

This system uses intelligent sensors to detect the type and amount of laundry. For heavy items like jeans, the drum rotation speed increases to provide a powerful beating wash. For lighter items like shirts, the drum rotation speed decreases to prevent tangling and ensure effective cleaning.

Figure 3.3: Sensor Big Drum Wash Mechanism
The washing machine adjusts drum rotation based on laundry weight. For heavy clothes, drum speed increases for a stronger beating action. For light clothes, drum speed decreases to prevent damage and optimize washing.

Quick Wash & Dry Course

This course is designed for situations where you need clothes washed and dried quickly. It efficiently cleans and dries a 6kg load in approximately 120 minutes.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your washing machine.

4.1 Filter Maintenance

Clean the lint filter and drying filter regularly to maintain drying efficiency and prevent odors.

Figure 4.1: Filter Maintenance
The Antibacterial Lint Filter (top) can be easily cleaned by shaking off collected lint. It is water-washable. The Drying Filter (bottom) can be removed by pulling the case, allowing accumulated dust to fall off. It features a stainless steel coating on the mesh part and is also water-washable.

4.2 Automatic Tub Cleaning

The machine features an automatic cleaning function that washes away dirt from the unseen parts of the washing tub, including the front and outer drum, using clean tap water after rinsing.

Figure 4.2: Automatic Tub Cleaning
After rinsing, clean tap water is showered from above to wash away dirt from the drum's front, outer drum, and the back of the outer tub cover. This helps maintain hygiene inside the washing machine.

4.3 Drying Duct Clean System

This system helps prevent a decrease in drying efficiency by cleaning the drying duct. During washing and rinsing, a shower of water cleans dust from the drying duct. During automatic cleaning, centrifugal force from the rotating drum passes water through the drying duct to wash away dust.
