Follow these steps to set up your Yamaha SR-C30A sound system.

1. Placement

2. Connections

Connect the sound bar to your television using one of the following methods:

  • HDMI (ARC/eARC): For optimal audio quality and control, connect an HDMI cable from the sound bar's HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port to your TV's HDMI (ARC/eARC) input.
  • Optical: If your TV does not support HDMI ARC, connect the included optical cable from the sound bar's OPTICAL port to your TV's optical digital audio output.
  • Analog: For devices with analog audio output, connect a 3.5mm stereo mini-plug cable (not included) from the sound bar's ANALOG port to your device's audio output.

Ensure the power adapter is connected to the sound bar's DC IN 20V port and then to a power outlet. The wireless subwoofer will automatically pair with the sound bar once both are powered on.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect a Bluetooth device:
