3. Product Overview
The StrongVision Mini is a compact trail camera designed for ease of use and reliable performance. Key features include:

4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
The camera requires 4 x 1.5V LR6 AA batteries. For optimal performance and extended operation, it is recommended to use high-quality alkaline or rechargeable batteries.
- Open the camera's latch on the side and gently open the housing.
- Locate the battery compartment.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2. Micro SD Card Installation
A Micro SD card (up to 32 GB) is required to store photos and videos. Ensure the card is formatted before first use.
- With the camera housing open, locate the Micro SD card slot.
- Insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
- To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

4.3. Initial Configuration
The camera can be configured using a settings file on the Micro SD card via your computer. This allows for precise adjustment of parameters such as photo resolution, video resolution, time-lapse intervals, and more.
- Insert the Micro SD card into your computer using the provided Micro SD card reader.
- Access the configuration file (usually a text file or specific software) on the card.
- Adjust desired settings according to your needs.
- Save the configuration file back to the Micro SD card.
- Safely eject the Micro SD card from your computer and insert it back into the camera.
4.4. Mounting the Camera
Use the included mounting strap to secure the camera to a tree, pole, or other suitable surface. Ensure the camera is stable and pointed towards the desired monitoring area.

5. Operating the Camera
5.1. Powering On/Off
After installing batteries and the Micro SD card, locate the power switch inside the camera housing. Switch it to the "ON" position to activate the camera. To turn off, switch it to "OFF".
5.2. Operating Modes
The camera supports various operating modes, which can be configured via the settings file:
- Photo Mode: Captures still images. Resolutions include 20 MP, 16 MP, and 12 MP.
- Video Mode: Records video clips. Resolutions include 1080p, 720p, and VGA.
- Photo + Video Mode: Captures a photo followed by a video clip.
- Time-lapse Mode: Takes photos at set intervals.
5.3. Motion Detection and Recording
The camera utilizes a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor to detect motion. When motion is detected within its 90° field of view, the camera will trigger and record based on your configured settings.
- Trigger Speed: The camera activates quickly, with a trigger speed of 0.8 seconds.
- IR LEDs: For low-light or nighttime conditions, 26 850nm IR LEDs provide illumination up to 20 meters (optimal illumination 6-8 meters).
- Shot Series: Configure the number of photos taken per trigger (1, 3, 6, or 9 shots).
- Recovery Time: Set the delay between triggers (1, 5, 10, or 30 seconds/minutes).
5.4. Viewing Files
To view captured photos and videos:
- Turn off the camera and remove the Micro SD card.
- Insert the Micro SD card into your computer using the card reader.
- Access the files on the card. Photos are saved in JPEG format, and videos in AVI format.
- Each file will include a date and time stamp.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
Wipe the camera's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure the lens and PIR sensor are clean and free from dirt or debris for optimal performance. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
6.2. Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears or when performance degrades. Always replace all batteries at once with new ones of the same type.
6.3. Storage
When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
