5. Installation
Before starting, ensure the main water supply is turned off. Refer to Figure 2 for a visual guide on dimensions and connection points.
- Prepare the Mounting Surface: Ensure the sink or countertop has a single hole suitable for deck mounting. The tap requires a hole with a diameter of approximately 33mm (refer to Figure 2 for exact dimensions).
- Insert the Tap: Place the tap body into the mounting hole. Ensure the base gasket is correctly positioned between the tap and the mounting surface to prevent leaks.
- Secure the Tap: From underneath the sink/countertop, slide the rubber washer, metal washer, and then the fixing nut onto the threaded rod extending from the tap base. Tighten the fixing nut securely using the provided tool or an appropriate wrench. Do not overtighten.
- Connect Water Hoses:
- Connect the hot and cold water supply hoses (3/8'' installation thread, M10 connection thread) to your existing hot and cold water lines. Ensure the correct hose is connected to the corresponding supply.
- Connect the filtered water hose (1/4'' connection, as indicated in Figure 2) to your water filter system's output.
- Check for Leaks: Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply. Inspect all connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks are detected, turn off the water supply and re-tighten the connections.
- Flush the System: Allow water to run through the tap for a few minutes to flush out any debris from the new installation.

6. Operation
The Deante BCH_064M tap features two distinct levers for controlling water flow:
- Main Mixer Lever: This lever controls the hot and cold water supply. Moving it left or right adjusts the temperature, while moving it up or down controls the flow rate.
- Filtered Water Lever: A separate, smaller lever is dedicated to dispensing filtered water. Operate this lever independently to access purified water.
The swan neck spout is designed to swivel 360°, providing flexibility and ease of use for various sink tasks.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your tap.
- Cleaning the Finish: Clean the chrome finish regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the chrome.
- Aerator Cleaning: Periodically unscrew the aerator (M22 size) from the end of the spout. Clean any mineral deposits or debris from the mesh screen. Reattach securely.
- Ceramic Cartridge: The tap uses a 35mm ceramic head (cartridge). If you experience persistent drips or difficulty controlling water flow, the ceramic cartridge may need replacement. This is typically a task for a qualified plumber.
- Filter Replacement: If using a water filter system, follow the manufacturer's instructions for regular filter replacement to ensure continued purified water quality.
8. Troubleshooting
