Setup and Installation
Before proceeding, ensure your computer is powered off and unplugged from the wall outlet. Refer to your motherboard and PC case manuals for specific mounting locations and clearances.
- Prepare Motherboard: Install the appropriate backplate and standoffs for your CPU socket (Intel or AMD) onto the motherboard.
- Apply Thermal Paste: If thermal paste is not pre-applied to the cold plate, apply a small, pea-sized amount to the center of your CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).
- Mount Cold Plate: Carefully place the pump/cold plate assembly onto the CPU, aligning the mounting holes. Secure it with the provided thumb screws or nuts, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.
- Install Radiator and Fans: Attach the two 120mm fans to the radiator using the long screws. Ensure the fan airflow direction is appropriate for your case (intake or exhaust). Mount the radiator assembly to an available fan mount in your PC case (e.g., top, front, or rear).
- Connect Cables:
- Connect the pump's 3-pin power cable to a dedicated AIO_PUMP or CPU_FAN header on your motherboard.
- Connect the two fan 4-pin PWM cables to the included fan splitter cable, then connect the splitter to a CPU_FAN or SYS_FAN header on your motherboard.
- Connect the ARGB cables from the fans and pump to the included ARGB splitter cable, then connect the splitter to a 5V 3-pin ARGB header on your motherboard. Do not connect to a 12V RGB header.
- Cable Management: Route all cables neatly to avoid interference with other components and to improve airflow.
Operating Instructions
Once installed, the AZZA LCAZ-240C-ARGB operates automatically.
- Power On: After completing installation and securing all connections, power on your computer.
- BIOS/UEFI Settings: Access your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI to ensure the CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header is set to PWM mode (if applicable) and that fan curves are configured for optimal cooling and noise levels.
- ARGB Control: Use your motherboard's ARGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync) to customize the lighting effects of the fans and pump.
- Monitor Temperatures: Use monitoring software to observe CPU temperatures, especially during initial use and under load, to confirm proper cooling performance.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and efficiency of your liquid cooling system.
- Dust Removal: Periodically clean dust from the radiator fins and fan blades using compressed air or a soft brush. Dust accumulation can impede airflow and reduce cooling performance.
- Inspect Tubing: Occasionally check the tubing for any signs of kinks, leaks, or damage.
- Fan Operation: Ensure both fans are spinning freely and quietly. Replace any fans that become excessively noisy or stop functioning.
- Pump Operation: Listen for any unusual noises from the pump. A constant, low hum is normal, but grinding or rattling sounds may indicate an issue.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your AZZA LCAZ-240C-ARGB, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
- High CPU Temperatures:
- Ensure the pump is running and connected to a constant power source (AIO_PUMP header).
- Verify that the cold plate is making proper contact with the CPU and that thermal paste was applied correctly.

- Clean any dust buildup on the radiator fins.
- Fans Not Spinning or ARGB Not Lighting Up:
- Confirm all fan and ARGB cables are securely connected to the motherboard headers and splitters.
- Ensure the ARGB cable is connected to a 5V 3-pin ARGB header, not a 12V 4-pin RGB header.
- Check your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings for fan control and ARGB settings.
- Verify that your motherboard's ARGB software is installed and configured correctly.

- Ensure the pump is receiving adequate power.
- Check for air bubbles in the loop by gently tilting your PC case.
