1. Product Overview

The ESR Portable Monitor is a versatile 15.6-inch external display designed to enhance your productivity and entertainment on the go. 3. Getting Started: Connections

The ESR Portable Monitor offers multiple connection options to suit your device and power needs. Ensure your device supports video output via USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode or HDMI.

3.1 Connection Types

• USB-C to USB-C (Power + Screen Projection): For devices with a full-featured USB-C port that supports both power delivery and video output. Connect one end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to the monitor's USB-C port and the other end to your device's compatible USB-C port.
• Mini HDMI to HDMI (Video Only) + USB-C (Power): For devices with an HDMI output. Connect the mini HDMI to HDMI cable from the monitor to your device. Additionally, connect the USB-C to USB-A cable from the monitor's USB-C port to a power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter or your device's USB-A port) for power.
• USB-C (Power) + USB-C (Screen Projection): For devices that require separate power and video connections via USB-C.

3.2 Power Supply Considerations

If the monitor screen remains blank or displays a "No Signal" message after connecting, ensure sufficient power is supplied. If connecting to a power socket, a 10W+ PD (Power Delivery) or QC (Quick Charge) adapter is required (not included).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Display Modes (Landscape & Portrait)

The ESR Portable Monitor supports both landscape and portrait orientations. You can easily switch between these modes via your device's display settings.

• For Windows: Go to Settings > System > Display. Select the monitor icon in "Rearrange your displays" and then choose "Portrait (flipped)" or "Portrait" in "Display orientation."
• For macOS: Go to System Preferences > Displays. Click "Gather Windows" and then select the external monitor. In the display settings, choose a rotation of "270°" or "90°" for portrait mode.

4.2 Adjusting Volume and Brightness

The monitor features a scroll wheel for quick adjustments:

• Volume: Press down on the scroll wheel to bring up the volume control. Press up/down on the scroll wheel to increase/decrease volume. Press the power/back button to return to view mode.
• Brightness: Press up on the scroll wheel to bring up the brightness control. Press up/down on the scroll wheel to increase/decrease brightness. Press the power/back button to return to view mode.

4.3 Advanced Settings

To access advanced display settings:

1. Press in the scroll wheel to open the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu.
2. Press up/down on the scroll wheel to toggle through categories (e.g., Brightness, Contrast, Color, OSD Settings, etc.).
3. Press in the scroll wheel to enter a category or select an option.
4. Press the power/back button to return to the previous menu or save settings.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen and exterior. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or aerosol sprays directly on the monitor.
• Storage: When not in use, store the monitor in its vegan leather carry pouch to protect it from dust and scratches. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the monitor.

• No Signal / Blank Screen:
  1. Ensure the monitor is receiving sufficient power. If using a USB-C connection, confirm your device's USB-C port supports power delivery. If using HDMI, ensure the monitor is connected to an external power source (10W+ PD/QC adapter recommended).
  2. Verify that the video cable (USB-C or HDMI) is securely connected to both the monitor and your source device.
  3. Check your device's display settings to ensure the external monitor is detected and configured correctly (e.g., extended display, duplicate display).
• Flickering Screen:
  1. Ensure the video cable is not damaged and is securely connected. Try a different cable if available.
  2. Check for driver updates for your device's graphics card.
  3. Reduce the display resolution or refresh rate in your device's display settings.
• No Sound:
  1. Ensure the monitor's volume is not muted or set to minimum using the scroll wheel.
  2. Check your device's sound output settings to ensure audio is directed to the ESR Portable Monitor.
• Image Quality Issues (Blurry, Distorted Colors):
  1. Adjust the brightness, contrast, and color settings via the monitor's OSD menu.
