1. Product Overview

The UNV NVR302-16E2 is a high-performance Network Video Recorder (NVR) designed for advanced surveillance systems. 4. Setup

4.1 Physical Installation

  1. HDD Installation:

    Unscrew and remove the NVR cover. Securely mount the SATA hard disk drives (HDDs) into the designated bays using the provided screws. Connect the SATA data and power cables from the NVR motherboard to the HDDs. Replace the NVR cover and secure it with screws.

  2. Connect Display:

    Connect a monitor to the NVR's HDMI or VGA output port using a compatible cable.

  3. Connect Mouse:

    Plug the USB mouse into one of the NVR's USB ports.

  4. Connect Network:

    Connect an Ethernet cable from the NVR's LAN port to your network router or switch.

  5. Connect Cameras:

    For PoE cameras, connect them directly to the NVR's independent PoE ports. For non-PoE cameras, ensure they are connected to the same network as the NVR and powered separately.

  6. Connect Power:

    Connect the power adapter to the NVR's power input and then plug it into a power outlet. The NVR will power on automatically.

4.2 Initial Configuration

Upon the first boot, the NVR will guide you through an initial setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure essential settings.

5.1 Live View

After setup, the NVR will display the live view of connected cameras. You can switch between single-camera view, multi-camera grid view, and customize the display layout.
