Follow these steps for initial assembly and setup of your Aspiron AS-CA022:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging and verify against the 'Package Contents' list.
  2. Attach Handle: Insert the handle into the main body of the vacuum until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Install Water Tanks: Ensure the clean water tank (upper) and dirty water tank (lower) are correctly seated in their respective compartments.
  4. Select and Install Brush: Choose the appropriate rolling brush (hard-bristle for carpets/dry, soft-bristle for hard floors/wet) and install it into the brush head compartment. Ensure it is securely locked.
  5. Initial Charge: Place the vacuum on its charging base. For the first use, allow the vacuum to charge for approximately 5 hours until the battery indicator on the LED display shows a full charge. Subsequent charges will take about 3.5 hours.

6. Operation Guide

Operating your Aspiron AS-CA022 is straightforward:

  1. Power On: Press the power button on the handle to turn on the vacuum. The LED display will illuminate.
  2. Select Mode/Speed: Use the H/L button on the handle to switch between high and low speed modes, depending on the cleaning intensity required.
  3. Start Cleaning: Tilt the vacuum back to engage the brush roll and begin cleaning. The vacuum will automatically dispense water for wet cleaning.

  5. Dry Cleaning: For dry vacuuming, you can use the hard-bristle brush. While the vacuum may still dispense a small amount of water upon startup, ensure the clean water tank is empty if you wish to perform strictly dry vacuuming on sensitive surfaces.
  6. Monitor LED Display: Pay attention to the LED display for alerts such as low water, full dirty water tank, or filter cleaning reminders.
  7. Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the vacuum.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your vacuum cleaner:

  1. Self-Cleaning Cycle: After each wet cleaning session, place the vacuum on its charging base and initiate the self-cleaning cycle (refer to LED display for prompt). This function rinses and auto-dries the brush roll, preventing odors and streaks.
  2. Empty Dirty Water Tank: Always empty the dirty water tank after each use. Remove the tank, open the lid, and dispose of the dirty water. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
  3. Clean Brush Roll: Even with self-cleaning, periodically remove the brush roll for manual inspection and cleaning. Use the provided cleaning brush tool to remove any tangled hair or debris.
  4. Clean Filter: The filter in the dirty water tank should be rinsed regularly under running water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
  5. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the vacuum with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  6. Storage: Store the vacuum on its charging base in a dry, cool place when not in use.
