3. Setup Guide

1. Connect the Docking Station: Plug the USB cable into the docking station and connect the other end to an available USB port on your computer. The computer should automatically detect the device and install necessary drivers.
2. Charge the Scanner: Place the HD5800 scanner into the docking station. Ensure it is seated correctly. The scanner will begin charging. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.
3. Power On: The scanner usually powers on automatically when removed from the docking station or when the trigger is pressed after charging.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Scanning

1. Hold the scanner with the scanning window facing the barcode.
2. Press and hold the trigger button. A red aiming beam will appear.
3. Center the aiming beam over the barcode.
4. Once the barcode is successfully read, the scanner will emit a beep and the indicator light will flash. The data will be transmitted to your connected device.

4.2 Scanning from Phone Screens

The HD5800 is capable of scanning barcodes directly from digital displays, such as phone screens. Ensure the screen brightness is adequate and avoid glare for optimal performance.

6. Maintenance
