3. Setup Guide

4. Operating Instructions

  2. Press and hold the trigger button. A red aiming beam will appear.
  3. Center the aiming beam over the barcode.
  4. Once the barcode is successfully read, the scanner will emit a beep and the indicator light will flash. The data will be transmitted to your connected device.

4.2 Scanning from Phone Screens

The HD5800 is capable of scanning barcodes directly from digital displays, such as phone screens. Ensure the screen brightness is adequate and avoid glare for optimal performance.

4.3 Using the Docking Station for Automatic Scanning

When the scanner is placed in the docking station, it can be configured for automatic scanning. This allows for hands-free operation, where the scanner will automatically detect and read barcodes presented within its field of view without needing to press the trigger.
