Setup Instructions

1. Site Selection

Choose a flat, level, and stable surface capable of supporting the weight of the filled spa and its occupants. The filled spa weighs approximately 2,400 lbs (1,089 kg) for 290 gallons. Ensure the site has adequate drainage and is within reach of a grounded electrical outlet.

2. Laying the Ground Cloth

Unfold the thermal ground cloth on the selected site. This cloth provides a protective barrier against punctures and offers additional insulation for heat retention.

3. Inflation

Connect the inflation hose to the spa control unit and the spa's inflation valve. Inflate the spa until it is firm to the touch but not rigid. Over-inflation can cause damage. Do not use an external air compressor.

4. Connecting the Control Unit

Attach the control unit to the spa unit by aligning the connections and tightening the collars securely. Ensure all connections are hand-tight to prevent water leaks.

5. Filling the Spa

Fill the spa with fresh water using a garden hose. Fill to the indicated maximum fill line on the spa's interior. Do not overfill.

6. Installing Filter Cartridges

Insert the filter cartridges into their designated housings within the spa. Ensure they are properly seated and secured according to the instructions in the control unit manual.

3. Activating Bubble Jets

Press the bubble jet button to activate the 170 high-powered bubble jets, providing a soothing and relaxing massage experience.

4. Filtration System

The filtration system should run regularly to maintain water clarity and hygiene. Refer to the maintenance section for recommended filtration cycles based on usage.

5. Using the Accessory Tray

Maintenance

1. Water Chemistry

Regularly test and adjust water chemistry (pH, chlorine/bromine, alkalinity) to ensure safe and clean water. Follow the guidelines provided with your spa chemical kit for proper dosage and application.

2. Filter Cartridge Cleaning and Replacement

Clean filter cartridges weekly by rinsing them thoroughly with a garden hose. Replace cartridges every 2-4 weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and water quality, to maintain optimal filtration performance.

3. Spa Cleaning

Periodically drain and clean the spa interior. Use a soft brush and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for inflatable spas. Rinse thoroughly before refilling to remove any cleaning residue.

4. Cover Care

Keep the insulated cover clean and free of debris. Ensure it is securely fastened with the lock clips when the spa is not in use. This helps retain heat, reduces energy consumption, and prevents unauthorized access.
