This document provides instructions for the Coway Airmega Max2 Replacement Filter Set, designed for use with Coway Airmega 230 and 240 air purifiers. The Max2 filter is an all-in-one system combining a True HEPA filter with an Activated Carbon filter to enhance air quality.

The True HEPA filter captures and reduces up to 99.99% of 0.01-micron particles in the air, including pollen, pollutants, and other allergens. The Activated Carbon filter reduces more than 99% of odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as NH3 and CH3CHO.

3. Installation and Replacement
Regular replacement of your air purifier filters is crucial for maintaining optimal performance and air quality. The Max2 filter set has an average lifespan of 12 months, but this can vary based on usage and environmental conditions.
Filter Replacement Indicators
Your Coway Airmega air purifier is equipped with indicator lights that signal when the Pre-Filter or Max2 filter (Green True HEPA + Activated Carbon) needs attention or replacement.

Steps to Replace the Max2 Filter
- Remove Plastic Wraps: Before installation, ensure all plastic packaging is removed from the new filters.
- Pull Ez-Release Pre-Filter: Gently pull the tab on the pre-filter to remove it from the unit.
- Remove Old Max2 Filter: Carefully remove the used Max2 filter.
- Insert New Max2 Filter: Place the new Max2 filter into the designated slot, ensuring it fits securely.
- Reinstall Pre-Filter: Slide the cleaned pre-filter back into place.
- Reset Filter Indicator: Press and hold the 'Filter Reset' button (usually for 3 seconds) to clear the replacement indicator light.

4. Maintenance
To ensure continuous optimal performance of your Coway Airmega air purifier, adhere to the following maintenance guidelines:
- Max2 Filter (True HEPA + Activated Carbon): Replace approximately every 12 months. The air purifier's indicator light will signal when replacement is due.
- Pre-Filter: The pre-filter is washable and should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every few weeks or as needed) to remove larger dust particles, hair, and pet dander. After washing, ensure it is completely dry before re-installing.
