- Exterior: Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner to prevent streaks and maintain its shine.
- Glass Tray and Roller Ring: These components can be removed and washed in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
- Door Seal: Regularly wipe the door seal and adjacent parts to remove any food spills or debris.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your microwave oven, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Oven does not start: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet. Check if the door is closed properly. Verify that a cooking time has been set.
- Food is not cooking evenly: Stir or rotate food halfway through cooking. Ensure the glass tray and roller ring are correctly assembled and rotating.
- Excessive steam or condensation: This is normal for some foods, especially those with high moisture content. Ensure the oven cavity is wiped dry after use.
- Unusual noises: A slight humming sound during operation is normal. If the noise is loud or unusual, ensure the glass tray and roller ring are correctly positioned.
