Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

7.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup after each use or when the MAX line is reached.

  1. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off.
  2. Press the dust cup release button to detach it from the main unit.
  3. Hold the dust cup over a trash bin and press the bottom release button to open the lid and empty contents.
  4. Close the lid and reattach the dust cup to the main unit until it clicks.

7.2 Cleaning Filters

The aonus A7 features a 6-stage filtration system. Clean filters regularly to maintain suction power.

  1. Pre-Motor Filter (HEPA filter and metal mesh filter): Remove the dust cup. Twist and pull out the filter assembly. Tap off loose dust. For thorough cleaning, rinse under cold running water. Ensure filters are completely dry (24-48 hours) before reassembling.
  2. Post-Motor Filter: This filter is usually located at the back of the main unit. Refer to the diagram in the manual for exact location. Remove and tap off dust. Rinse if necessary and ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.

Note: Do not use detergents or hot water to clean filters. Do not use a washing machine or dryer.

7.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll

Periodically check the brush roll for tangled hair or debris.

  1. Turn off the vacuum and detach the motorized floor brush.
  2. Locate the brush roll release tab/lock on the side of the brush head. Unlock and remove the brush roll.
  3. Use scissors or a cleaning tool to cut and remove any tangled hair or fibers.
  4. Reinsert the brush roll and lock it into place.
