Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and hygienic operation of your pet feeder.
- Disassembly for Cleaning: The food tank lid, food tank, and stainless steel bowl are detachable for easy cleaning.
- Cleaning the Food Tank and Bowl: Wash the food tank and stainless steel bowl with water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and ensure they are completely dry before reassembly.
- Cleaning the Feeder Base: Wipe the feeder base with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the base in water, as it contains electronic components.
- Desiccant Bag Replacement: Replace the desiccant bag periodically (e.g., monthly) to maintain food freshness.
- Battery Check: If using backup batteries, check their charge level regularly, especially if the feeder is not connected to AC power. Replace batteries every 6 months if not in use for a long time.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your WHDPETS Automatic Cat Feeder, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Feeder Not Powering On:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the feeder and a working wall outlet.
- If using batteries, check if they are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
