- Mounting: The ceiling fan must be mounted to a structurally sound ceiling joist or outlet box capable of supporting a minimum of 35 lbs (15.9 kg). Use only the outlet box marked "Acceptable for Fan Support of 15.9 kg (35 lbs) or Less."
- Blade Clearance: Ensure there is at least 7 feet (2.1 meters) of clearance from the floor to the bottom of the fan blades. Maintain a minimum of 30 inches (76 cm) from the blade tips to any walls or obstructions.
- Fan Operation: Do not insert objects into the path of the fan blades. Do not attempt to reverse the fan direction while the blades are in motion.
- Light Kit: Do not attempt to replace the LED light source. Contact customer support for assistance.

4. Installation Guide
Tools Required: Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, step ladder.
4.1 Pre-Installation Steps
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the ceiling fan location is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Identify Wires: Identify the supply wires (usually black for live, white for neutral, green or bare copper for ground).
- Prepare Mounting Location: Ensure the outlet box is securely fastened to the building structure and is rated for fan support.
4.2 Mounting Bracket Installation
- Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling outlet box using the screws provided with the outlet box. Ensure it is tight and secure.
4.3 Downrod and Fan Assembly
- Feed the motor wires through the downrod.
- Insert the downrod into the fan motor housing and secure it with the provided pin and screw.
- Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it on the mounting bracket hook (if available) or have someone assist in holding it while wiring.
4.4 Wiring Connections
Connect the wires using the provided wire nuts:
- Connect the green/bare copper ground wire from the fan to the ground wire from the outlet box.
- Connect the white neutral wire from the fan to the white neutral wire from the outlet box.
- Connect the black live wire from the fan to the black live wire from the outlet box.
After connections are made, carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
4.5 Securing the Fan and Installing Blades
- Slide the canopy up and secure it to the mounting bracket with the provided screws.
- Attach each fan blade to the motor housing using the screws provided. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
4.6 Light Kit Installation
- Connect the light kit wires (usually white to white, black to blue/black) to the corresponding wires from the fan motor.
- Attach the light kit assembly to the bottom of the fan motor housing, twisting or screwing it into place as per design.
4.7 Final Steps
- Restore power at the circuit breaker.
- Test the fan and light functions using the remote control.

5. Operating Instructions
Your Newday ceiling fan is operated by the included remote control.
5.1 Remote Control Functions

- Fan ON/OFF: Press the fan icon button to turn the fan on or off.
- Fan Speed Control (1-6): Press the numbered buttons (1-6) to select desired fan speed. 1 is the lowest speed, 6 is the highest.
- Light ON/OFF: Press the light bulb icon button to turn the light on or off.
- Light Color Temperature Change: With the light on, press the light bulb icon button repeatedly to cycle through Warm (3000K), Daylight (4000K), and Cool (6500K) light.
- Light Brightness Adjustment: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to increase or decrease the light brightness (20% to 100%).
- Reverse Function: Press the reverse airflow button (usually an arrow icon) to change the direction of the fan blades. This function is for seasonal use.
- Timer Function: Press the 1H, 3H, or 6H button to set the fan to turn off automatically after 1, 3, or 6 hours, respectively.
5.2 Light Color Temperature and Dimming
The integrated LED light offers three color temperatures and adjustable brightness to suit your preference.
