Maintenance

Cleaning

Regularly clean your earbuds and charging case to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For ear tips, you can gently wipe them with a slightly damp cloth and allow them to air dry completely before reattaching.

Water Resistance (IP7)

The Donerton A20 earbuds are IP7 waterproof, meaning they are protected against temporary immersion in water (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes). This makes them suitable for sports and workouts where they may be exposed to sweat or light rain. However, they are not designed for swimming or prolonged submersion. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.

Troubleshooting

  • Only one earbud connected: Place both earbuds back into the charging case. Hold the reset button on the charging case for 8 seconds. Then, on your device, "Forget" the "A20" Bluetooth connection, turn Bluetooth off and on, and re-pair.
  • Earbuds not charging: Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source. Check for any debris in the charging port. Make sure the earbuds are properly seated in the charging case and the charging contacts are clean.
  • Poor sound quality: Ensure the earbuds are fully charged. Check if the ear tips are the correct size for a snug fit. Clean any earwax or debris from the earbud speakers. Move closer to your connected device to avoid interference.
  • Earbuds not pairing: Make sure the earbuds are out of the charging case and in pairing mode (indicated by flashing lights). Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Try resetting the earbuds as described in the "Setup" section.
