3. Setup Instructions

Setting up your D-Link Eagle Pro AI AX3200 Mesh WiFi 6 System is designed to be straightforward. You can choose between app-guided setup or manual web interface setup.

3.1. App-Guided Setup (Recommended)

1. Download the App: Search for "EAGLE PRO AI" in your mobile device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and download the application.
2. Power On: Connect one of the M32 units to your modem using the provided Ethernet cable. Plug the power adapter into the M32 unit and then into a power outlet. Wait for the status LED on the unit to flash orange (typically less than 130 seconds).
3. Launch App: Open the EAGLE PRO AI app on your smartphone or tablet.
4. Add Device: Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to add your new D-Link M32 device. The app will guide you through connecting to the Wi-Fi network and configuring your settings.
5. Extend Mesh: Once the first unit is set up, power on the remaining M32 unit(s). The app will guide you through adding them to your mesh network for extended coverage.

3.2. Web Interface Setup (Alternative)

1. Connect Hardware: Connect one M32 unit to your modem using the Ethernet cable. Plug in the power adapter.
2. Connect to Wi-Fi: On your computer or mobile device, connect to the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) printed on the device label (e.g., M32-XXXX). The default Wi-Fi password is also on the label.
3. Access Web Interface: Open a web browser and navigate to http://xxxx.devicesetup.net/ (replace xxxx with the last 4 characters of the MAC address from the device label) or http://dlinkrouter.local.
4. Follow Wizard: The setup wizard will appear. Follow the prompts to configure your internet connection, Wi-Fi network name, and password. You will also set an admin password for the router's web interface.
5. Extend Mesh: After the first router is installed, power on the remaining unit(s). They should automatically join the mesh network. If not, you may need to use the WPS button or manually add them via the web interface.

  • If using the web interface, double-check the URL (http://xxxx.devicesetup.net/ or http://dlinkrouter.local).
  • A factory reset (using the reset button on the back of the unit) can resolve persistent setup issues, but will erase all custom settings.
• Slow Speeds:
  • Check for interference from other electronic devices.
  • Ensure your devices are connected to the 5GHz band for higher speeds, if supported.
  • Run an internet speed test to verify your ISP's provided speed.
