Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• Ensure the protective film on the control panel is removed before first use.

The OMISOON DH-QN18 is a compact and efficient PTC ceramic space heater designed for personal and small room heating. It features rapid heating, an ECO thermostat, oscillation, and multiple safety protections.

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials. Do not place it on soft surfaces like carpets or rugs that might block the air intake.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
4. Initial Check: Ensure the back master switch is in the 'ON' position.

Operating Instructions

The heater can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

1. Power On/Off

• Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the heater ON or OFF.

2. Mode Selection

Press the Mode button to cycle through the available heating and fan modes:

• High Heat: Provides maximum heating power (2000W).
• Low Heat: Provides reduced heating power (900W).
• ECO Mode: Automatically adjusts heat output based on the ambient temperature to maintain a set temperature and save energy.
• Natural Wind: Operates as a fan without heating, suitable for year-round use.

3. Thermostat Control

In High Heat, Low Heat, or ECO Mode, you can set your desired temperature:

• Use the + and - buttons on the control panel or remote to adjust the temperature between 15°C and 35°C.
• In ECO mode, the heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature, optimizing energy consumption.

4. Oscillation Function

• Press the OSC button on the control panel or remote to activate 90° widespread oscillation. This distributes heat more evenly across a larger area.
• Press the OSC button again to stop oscillation.

5. Adjustable Louvers

• The heater features adjustable louvers that can be manually set from 35° to 40° upwards and 35° downwards.
• Rotate the button on the side of the unit to adjust the vertical airflow direction to your preference.

6. Timer Function

• Press the Timer button on the control panel or remote to set an automatic shut-off time from 0 to 24 hours.
• Each press increases the timer by 1 hour. The display will show the set time.
• The heater will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

1. Cleaning the Filter

• Always unplug the heater from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Locate the removable filter at the rear of the unit.
• Gently remove the filter.
• Clean the filter using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. If heavily soiled, rinse with lukewarm water and mild soap, then allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
• Ensure the filter is dry before placing it back into the heater.

2. General Cleaning

• Wipe the exterior of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.

3. Storage

• If storing the heater for an extended period, unplug it and allow it to cool completely.
• Clean the heater as described above.
• Store the heater in its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
