Setup and Pairing

The Angrox AN-MR21GA remote control is designed for easy setup without complex programming.

1. Battery Installation

Insert two (2) AA batteries into the remote control. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the battery compartment. Batteries are not included with the remote.

2. Pairing with Your TV

There are two methods for pairing the remote with your LG Smart TV:

  1. Method 1 (Automatic Pairing):
    • Turn on your LG Smart TV.
    • Insert 2*AA batteries into the remote.
    • After approximately 20 seconds, point the remote control towards the TV.
    • Press the Wheel (OK) button.
    • The remote control should register automatically, and a "Pairing Complete" message will appear on the TV screen.
  2. Method 2 (Manual Pairing):
    • Turn on your LG Smart TV.
    • Insert 2*AA batteries into the remote.
    • Press and hold the Home (Home button icon) and Back (Back button icon) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
    • Then, press the Wheel (OK) button.
    • A "Pairing Complete" message should appear on the TV screen.

Operating Instructions

Basic Navigation and Pointer Function

The remote features a pointer function that allows you to navigate the TV screen by moving the remote. The Wheel (OK) button acts as a click function, and scrolling is also supported.

  • P.Video: Launches the Prime Video application.

  • 9©: Launch Quick Help.
  • - / LIST©: Checking saved channels.
  • GUIDE©: Launch Guide.
  • 0©: The QUICK ACCESS edit screen appears.
  • ...©: Display additional buttons on the remote control.
  • AD/SAP©: Configures SAP.
  • Volume Up/Down©: Adjust the volume level.
  • Channel Up/Down©: You can change the channel.
  • Mute©: Select to turn off the sound from the TV.
  • Accessibility©: Enter the Accessibility menu.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote Not Responding:
    • Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Replace with new AA batteries if necessary.
    • Re-attempt the pairing process (see "Setup and Pairing" section).
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's infrared receiver. This remote primarily operates via line-of-sight.
  • Pointer Function Not Working:
    • Ensure the remote is properly paired.
    • Try re-pairing the remote using Method 2 (holding Home and Back buttons).
  • Voice Control Not Working:
    • Ensure the remote is properly paired and the TV supports voice control.
    • Confirm that the voice button is being pressed and held while speaking.

  • Buttons Feel Flimsy or Stick:
