Setup

1. Powering the Monitor

The PT5 II offers flexible power options:

  • Battery Power: Compatible with Sony NP-F series batteries (e.g., NP-F970/F960/F750/F550) or Canon LP-E6 batteries. Insert the battery into the designated slot on the rear of the monitor.
  • DC Input: Connect a compatible DC power adapter (7-24V) to the DC IN port.
  • USB Power: The monitor supports 5V USB input (at least 5V/2A) via the USB-A port. This can be used with a mobile phone charger or power bank.

Connect your camera's HDMI output to the monitor's HDMI Input port using a compatible HDMI cable. The monitor also features an HDMI Output for looping through the signal to another device.

  • Anamorphic: Supports various anamorphic de-squeeze ratios (1.00X, 1.33X, 1.42X, 1.50X, 1.60X, 1.66X, 1.85X, 2.00X, 2.35X) and user-defined ratios.
  • New Peaking: Enhanced focus peaking for precise focus assistance.
  • Zebra: Highlights overexposed areas to prevent clipping.
  • False Color: Displays exposure levels using a spectrum of colors.
  • Grids & Guides: Customizable framing guides and crosshairs.
  • Audio Meters: Visual representation of audio input levels.
  • Image Flip: Flips the image horizontally or vertically for various mounting orientations.
