1. Introduction

4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Ink: Pour the appropriate ink into the ink cup. Ensure the ink consistency is suitable for pad printing; thinners may be required.
  2. Load Product: Place the item to be printed onto the product fixture or printing surface. Ensure it is stable and correctly positioned.
  3. Ink Transfer: Using the handle, move the ink cup assembly over the printing plate. The doctor blade will scrape excess ink, leaving ink only in the etched image area.
  4. Image Pickup: Move the silicone pad down onto the inked printing plate. The pad will pick up the ink image.
  5. Image Transfer: Move the silicone pad over the product to be printed. Press the pad down onto the product, transferring the ink image.
  6. Repeat: Lift the pad and repeat the process for subsequent prints.
  7. Test Prints: Perform several test prints on scrap material to verify alignment, ink coverage, and print quality before printing on final products.

6. Maintenance

  • Daily Cleaning: After each use, clean the ink cup, doctor blade, and printing plate thoroughly with appropriate cleaning solutions to prevent ink from drying and hardening.
  • Pad Care: Clean the silicone pad gently with a soft cloth and mild solvent. Avoid abrasive materials that can damage the pad surface. Store pads properly to maintain their shape and elasticity.
