5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Jump-Starting a Vehicle
Ensure the jump starter is at least 75% charged before attempting to jump-start a vehicle.
- Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories (lights, radio, etc.).
- Connect the red (+) clamp of the smart jumper cables to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (-) clamp of the smart jumper cables to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery or a solid, unpainted metal part of the engine block (ground point).
- Plug the blue connector end of the smart jumper cables into the Engine Start Port on the jump starter unit. Ensure a secure connection.
- Check the indicator lights on the smart jumper cable connector. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to jump-start. If a red light or alarm sounds, check connections for polarity reversal or short circuit.
- Start the vehicle's engine. If it doesn't start on the first attempt, wait at least 30 seconds before trying again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
- Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the smart jumper cable from the jump starter unit.
- Then, disconnect the black (-) clamp from the vehicle battery/ground, followed by the red (+) clamp.
Important: Do not leave the jump starter connected to the vehicle battery after the engine has started.
5.2 Charging Electronic Devices (USB Output)
- Connect your device's USB charging cable to either USB OUT 1 or USB OUT 2 on the jump starter.
- Connect the other end of the cable to your electronic device.
- The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.
