Setup

1. Mounting the Camera

  • GV-VMS: Open the GeoVision GV-VMS software, add the camera to your device list, and select it to view the live feed.
  • Web Browser: Enter the camera's IP address into a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox) to access its web interface. Log in with your credentials to view the live feed and configure settings.
  • Mobile App: Download and install the GV-Eye mobile application. Add your camera or GV-VMS server to view live footage remotely.

2. Configuring Recording

  • Local Storage (SD Card): Insert a Class 10 micro SD card into the camera's slot. Format the SD card via the camera's web interface or GV-VMS. Configure recording schedules and event-triggered recording settings.
  • NVR/VMS Recording: If using a Network Video Recorder (NVR) or GV-VMS, configure recording settings directly within the NVR/VMS software.

3. Utilizing AI Features

  • AI Perimeter Protection: Within the camera's web interface or GV-VMS, define detection zones and set rules for AI perimeter protection. This allows the camera to distinguish between human and vehicle intrusions.
