3.1. Features
- Dual Hard Drive Enclosure: Supports M.2 NVMe/NGFF and 2.5-inch SATA (HDD/SSD up to 10mm thickness).
- Video Output: DP1.4 (4K/60Hz) and HDMI (4K/60Hz) for dual screen expansion.
- USB Ports: 1x USB3.1 Gen2 (10Gbps), 1x USB-C (10Gbps), 2x USB3.0 (5Gbps).
- Card Readers: SD and Micro SD card slots.
- Material: Aluminum alloy for efficient heat dissipation.
3.2. Port Layout

- USB3.0 (5Gbps): Standard USB-A ports for peripherals.
- SD/Micro SD: Card reader slots.
- LED: Power/activity indicator.
- USB3.1 Gen2 (10Gbps): High-speed USB-A port.
- USB-C (10Gbps): High-speed USB-C data port.
- DP1.4 (4K/60Hz): DisplayPort output.
- HDMI (4K/60Hz): HDMI output.
- USB-C (A): Provides power to all interfaces except DisplayPort and HDMI.
- USB-C (B): Provides power to DisplayPort and HDMI interfaces. Required for DP port functionality.
Important Note: When M.2 and 2.5-inch hard drives are used simultaneously, or when using DP/HDMI, it is recommended to connect both USB-C (A) and USB-C (B) interfaces to your device for sufficient power supply.
4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Installing Hard Drives
The hub supports one M.2 (NVMe/NGFF) SSD and one 2.5-inch SATA (HDD/SSD) simultaneously.
- For M.2 SSD: Locate the M.2 slot on the underside of the hub. Insert your M.2 NVMe or NGFF SSD into the slot and secure it according to the mechanism provided (e.g., screw or clip).
- For 2.5-inch SATA Drive: Open the 2.5-inch drive bay cover on the underside. Insert your 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD (up to 10mm thickness) into the bay, ensuring it connects properly to the SATA connector. Close the cover.

Note: New hard drives may require initialization and formatting through your operating system's disk management utility before use.
4.2. Connecting to Mac Mini/Studio
- Place the Hagibis hub directly under your Mac Mini or Mac Studio for a seamless fit.
- Connect the provided USB-C data cables from the hub's USB-C (A) and USB-C (B) ports to the USB-C/Thunderbolt ports on your Mac Mini/Studio.
- Ensure both USB-C cables are connected for full functionality, especially when using dual hard drives or video outputs.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Using USB Ports and Card Readers
- Connect USB devices (keyboards, mice, external drives, etc.) to the USB3.0, USB3.1 Gen2, or USB-C data ports.
- Insert SD or Micro SD cards into the respective slots for data access.
5.2. Dual Screen Expansion
The hub supports dual 4K/60Hz display output via DP1.4 and HDMI ports.
- Connect your primary monitor to the DP1.4 port using a DisplayPort cable.
- Connect your secondary monitor to the HDMI port using an HDMI cable.
- Ensure both USB-C (A) and USB-C (B) cables are connected from the hub to your Mac Mini/Studio for sufficient power to drive both displays.
- Adjust display settings in your operating system (System Preferences > Displays on macOS) to configure extended or mirrored display modes.

Note on M1 Chip: Mac Mini models with the original M1 chip may only support expansion to one external screen. M1 Pro, M1 Max, and M1 Ultra chips do not have this limitation.
5.3. Data Transfer Speeds
The hub supports high-speed data transfer up to 10Gbps for compatible devices and drives.

Actual speeds may vary depending on the connected devices, cables, and the host system's capabilities. Due to limitations of the Apple M1 chip, read and write speeds may be lower compared to non-M1 chip computers.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the hub to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Refer to qualified service personnel.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the hub, especially when hard drives are installed, to prevent overheating.
