Introduction
The AODELAN TR90 is a wired remote controller with a digital timer designed for camera shutter activation. It provides precise control over delay, exposure time, interval, and the number of shots for various photography techniques, including time-lapse and long exposure. This device features a two-stage shutter button, a backlit LCD display, status LED, and an audible beep for operational feedback.

- Release Lamp: Indicates operation status.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery-chamber cover on the back of the remote controller (refer to Figure 1).
- Slide the cover open.
- Insert two AAA 1.5V LR03 alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Note: Batteries are not included.
- Close the battery-chamber cover securely.
2. Connecting to Camera
- Ensure both the camera and the remote controller are powered off.
- Connect the remote controller's cable to the remote control terminal on your camera. The connection port type may vary by camera model.
- Power on the camera and then the remote controller.
Operating Instructions
Basic Shutter Operation
- Autofocus: Half-press the shutter-release button to activate your camera's autofocus.
- Capture Photo: Fully press the shutter-release button to take a picture.
Timer Functions
The TR90 offers four primary timer functions: Delay, Long Exposure, Interval, and Number of Shots. These can be set from 0 seconds up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds in one-second increments, except for the number of shots.

- Setting Parameters:
- Press the SET button to cycle through the parameters: DELAY, LONG (exposure time), INTVL (interval), and N (number of shots).
- Use the selector buttons (up/down/left/right) to adjust the values for each parameter.
- Press SET again to confirm the value and move to the next parameter.
- DELAY: Time before the first shot is taken. (Range: 0s to 99h 59m 59s)
- LONG (Exposure Time): Duration the shutter remains open. (Range: 0s to 99h 59m 59s)
- INTVL (Interval): Time between consecutive shots. (Range: 0s to 99h 59m 59s)
- N (Number of Shots): Total number of photos to be taken. (Range: 1 to 399, or '--' for unlimited. To set unlimited, select '1' and press the down selector button.)
- Starting/Stopping Timer: Press the TIMER START/STOP button to begin or end the programmed sequence.
Advanced Features
- BULB Mode: For exposures longer than the camera's maximum shutter speed. Set the LONG parameter to the desired duration.
- High-Speed Continuous Shooting: Allows for rapid consecutive shots.

Anti-Shake Function
Using the remote controller helps prevent camera shake that can occur when manually pressing the camera's shutter button, especially crucial for long exposures or telephoto shots.

Maintenance
- Keep the remote controller dry. Do not expose it to moisture or rain.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Check battery installation and ensure batteries are fresh.
- Remote not triggering camera: Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the remote and the camera. Verify camera settings allow for remote shutter release.
- Incompatibility with Olympus/OM System Cameras: Please note that despite some listings, the AODELAN TR90 may not be compatible with all Olympus or OM System camera models. Verify compatibility with your specific camera model before use.
- Display issues: If the display is dim or flickering, replace the batteries.
