Drainage Options
Your WANSID dehumidifier offers two convenient ways to remove collected water.
1. Manual Drainage (Water Tank)
The unit features a 2.5L (0.66 gallon) water tank. When the tank is full, the "Full" indicator will light up, an alarm will sound, and the dehumidifier will automatically shut off to prevent overflow.
- Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
- Empty the collected water into a sink or drain.
- Reinsert the water tank firmly until it is securely in place.

2. Continuous Drainage
For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can connect a drain hose (not included) to the drainage outlet on the back of the unit.
- Locate the drainage outlet on the back of the dehumidifier.
- Remove the rubber stopper from the outlet.
- Connect a suitable drain hose (10mm / 0.39inch diameter) to the outlet.
- Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow for gravity drainage into a floor drain or large container.
- When not using continuous drainage, ensure the rubber stopper is securely in place to prevent leaks.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Air Filter
Regular cleaning of the air filter is essential for optimal performance and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
- Locate the air filter, typically on the back or side of the unit.
- Gently slide out the filter.
- Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. For heavy dirt, wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Slide the clean, dry filter back into its slot.
