Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the speaker's controls and ports:

Top Panel Controls:

• Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to check battery status.
• Volume Up/Next Track: Short press for volume up. Press and hold for next track.
• Volume Down/Previous Track: Short press for volume down. Press and hold for previous track.
• Multi-function Button (M): Play/pause music, answer/end calls, activate voice assistant.

Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicators will show charging status.

2. Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2 seconds. You will hear a power-on tone.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for 2 seconds. You will hear a power-off tone.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and within 100 feet of your device.
2. The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing white LED.
3. On your mobile device, open Bluetooth settings and search for "Monster S130".
4. Select "Monster S130" to connect. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the white LED will remain solid.

Operating Instructions

Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Short press the Multi-function button (M).
• Next Track: Press and hold the Volume Up button (⏸) for 2 seconds.
• Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume Down button (⏷) for 2 seconds.
• Volume Control: Short press the Volume Up (⏸) or Volume Down (⏷) buttons.

Hands-free Calling

• Answer Call: Short press the Multi-function button (M).
• End Call: Short press the Multi-function button (M).
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button (M) for about 2 seconds.
• Voice Assistant: Double press the Multi-function button (M) to activate your device's voice assistant.

Wireless Stereo Pairing (TWS)

You can pair two Monster S130 speakers together for an immersive stereo sound experience:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker, double-click the Bluetooth pairing button. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone.
4. Connect your mobile device to one of the paired speakers via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Water Resistance (IPX5): The Monster S130 is IPX5 water resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes, rain, and gentle sprays. It is not designed to be submerged in water. Ensure the protective flap covering the charging and Micro SD ports is securely closed before exposure to moisture.

Troubleshooting

Speaker does not power on:

Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.

Cannot pair with Bluetooth device:

• Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing white LED).
• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
• Move the speaker closer to your device.
• If previously paired, try forgetting "Monster S130" from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pairing.
• Reset the speaker by pressing and holding the Power button for 10 seconds to restore factory settings.

No sound or low volume:

• Adjust the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
• Ensure the speaker is properly connected via Bluetooth.
• If playing from a Micro SD card, ensure the card is inserted correctly and contains compatible audio files.

Cannot connect two speakers for stereo pairing:

• Ensure both speakers are Monster S130 models.
• Make sure neither speaker is connected to any other Bluetooth device before attempting TWS pairing.
• Follow the TWS pairing instructions carefully.
