5. Setup
5.1 Hardware Installation
- Install Hard Disk Drive (HDD):
- Unscrew and remove the NVR's top cover.
- Connect the SATA data and power cables to the HDD.
- Secure the HDD to the NVR chassis using the provided screws.
- Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.
- Connect Cameras: Connect your IP cameras to the same network as the NVR. Ensure cameras are powered on.
- Connect Display: Connect a monitor to the NVR's HDMI or VGA port.
- Connect Network: Connect the NVR to your network router/switch using an Ethernet cable.
- Connect USB Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into a USB port on the NVR.
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the NVR and then to a power outlet. The NVR will power on automatically.
5.2 Initial Configuration
- First Boot: Upon first boot, the NVR will guide you through a setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Live View

- Multi-View: Select the desired grid layout (e.g., 4-channel, 8-channel) from the toolbar.
6.2 Recording
The NVR supports continuous, scheduled, and event-triggered recording.
- Scheduled Recording: Navigate to Menu > Record > Schedule to set up recording times for each camera.
- Manual Recording: In live view, click the record icon next to a camera to start/stop manual recording.
